Our First Mystery Reader and Fall Tree Crafts

Sunday, October 24, 2021

Hi everyone! I hope you had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed this last stretch of beautiful weather before the rain moves in this week!

As you could tell from my weekly newsletter, we had a super busy, but fun and productive week! On Friday, we had our very first mystery reader visit our classroom!

It was . . .

Otto's Mom!

Mrs. Ambuhl surprised the kids with not one but two stories, including one of Otto's favorite books from home!

Students were SO SO excited all week listening to the clues and trying to guess who the mystery reader was.
A big thank you to Mrs. Ambuhl for being our very first mystery reader!

As you know, this week was all about the four seasons, with a focus on Fall.

On Friday, we wrapped up the unit with an adorable "Fall Tree" Craft. This is always one of my favorite crafts because students can really make the trees all their own and they're beautiful to look at!

These beautiful "Fall Tree" crafts that your children made will be on display in the hallway above their cubbies! Here are just a few of them!
